In 2022, thanks to the funds received from the<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-secondary-color\"><strong> <\/strong><\/mark><a href=\"https:\/\/ouroceanpanama2023.gob.pa\/\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-secondary-color\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Our Oceans 2023<\/span><\/mark><\/strong><\/a><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-secondary-color\"> <\/mark>award, the use of technology, including marine and underwater drones, was initiated to accelerate deep exploration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-white-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"letter-spacing:1px\">The TEQUINA WAVE team has made significant strides. They mapped part of the seabed in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/tequinawave.com\/en\/puerto-lindo\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-secondary-color\"><strong>Puerto Lindo Bay<\/strong><\/mark><\/a>,<\/span> identified submerged marine debris and various species, and explored the human impact on the coastal marine system\u2014covering ocean acidification, pollution, and deforestation. This combined effort in cleanup, research, and education is reshaping how we approach and protect our oceans.
